Becoming a mum for the first time is magical — but also messy, emotional, and exhausting. The first six weeks are a blur of feeding, nappies, and very little sleep. You might feel overwhelmed, and that’s completely normal.

  • You might cry for no reason. Hormones are real.

  • You won’t “bounce back” overnight. Healing takes time.

  • Sleep deprivation is no joke. Nap when you can, and accept help.

Tip: Don't compare yourself to others on Instagram. Every baby — and every mum — is different. If you’re getting through the day, you’re doing amazing.
